Congratulations to Sammy Saed who recently published the 1,000,000 document revision on Construction Hive.

Sammy is a project manager who works for Professional Service Industries (PSI) in their Cleveland Construction Services Department.  He is responsible for supporting PSI technicians, managing and troubleshooting different projects and reviewing on-site daily field reports. On average he reviews and approves 20 to 30 reports every day that are published on Construction Hive.

Delivering documents and data for the DFW Connector

We are pleased to announce the successful use of the Construction Hive document distribution and integration services for the delivery of quality related information for the DFW Connector in Dallas, TX. The DFW Connector is a major (US$ 1 billion) project for the reconstruction and expansion of two major highway interchanges along four highways.

This is the first major implementation of the Construction Hive integration services. It has some challenging requirements involving two target systems – one for PDF versions of reports and another for detailed materials testing results.

March 2010 Release: You want to use that data?

Today we released a new build of Construction Hive. It contains some exciting new features focused around the publishing, storage, viewing, searching and sharing of metadata.

One of the primary goals we outlined when embarking on the design of Construction Hive was to provide a platform that could leverage the data that was the source of many documents and reports distributed in the construction industry. Welcome to the Construction Hive Blog

The Construction Hive online platform for the civil and construction industries entered Private Beta on August 24th 2009 and as we are now approaching a phase of making the solution more widely available we are starting a blog. We look forward to sharing with you what we have learnt so far, as well as our thoughts and experiences during our ongoing development and deployment efforts. If you feel the urge please leave comments as they are most welcome.
